What materials are available?

All within the fabric family, kept distinct: plain fabric (most ranges — Verona, Valerie, Tanya, Conway, Foster, Roma, Nancy, Byron, Boxfit, Canterbury and more), suede (the Maple range) and velvet (the Olympia range). There is no leather in this collection. Suede has a soft, brushed nap and velvet a plush, light-catching pile, while plain fabric is the most practical everyday choice. Which sofas are suede or velvet?

The Maple range is suede (in grey and brown) and the Olympia range is velvet (in grey). Everything else here is plain fabric. Suede and velvet are both more textured, characterful choices; plain fabric is generally the easiest to live with day to day. What is the difference between a fixed and a reclining two-seater?

A fixed sofa is a classic non-reclining design. A manual recliner (for example the Conway and Torino ranges) reclines by hand and needs no mains socket. An electric recliner (Tanya, Maple, Foster and Roma) reclines at the touch of a button and needs a mains socket nearby. We describe reclining as a comfort feature, not a health or posture benefit. Are these mainly single two-seaters or sets?

Both. There are single 2 seater sofas and matching 2+2 sofa sets (two two-seaters that match). A 2+2 set is a practical way to seat more people while keeping the compact two-seater proportions. There are no three-seaters or corner sofas in this collection — it is a two-seater format throughout.

What colours are available?

A wide choice, since many brands feature: grey and charcoal, beige and cream, brown and caramel, and characterful shades like Byron Shark and Canterbury Truffle, plus a green (Boxfit Grass). How do I measure and get the sofa through the door?

Measure the width and height of every doorway, hallway, stairwell and tight turn each piece must pass through, plus lift dimensions if you are above ground level. How do I care for a fabric, suede or velvet sofa?

For plain fabric , vacuum gently with an upholstery attachment and blot spills rather than rubbing. Suede benefits from a soft brush to keep the nap even and should be kept away from heavy soiling. Velvet should be brushed in the direction of the pile and kept out of prolonged direct sunlight.
