What is a 2 seater leather sofa?

A compact, two-seat sofa with a smart leather or leather-look finish. It's an ideal size for smaller living rooms, snugs and apartments, or as a companion piece alongside a larger sofa. This is one of our biggest leather ranges, with a wide choice of material, colour and comfort, and matching 2+2, 3+2 and 3+3 sets if you'd like more seats.

What materials are available?

Four different leather and leather-look materials: genuine leather (real hide, luxurious and hard-wearing, and the largest group), Leather Aire (our own leather-look, wipe-clean material — not genuine, and not faux), bonded leather (a leather-fibre-and-polyurethane composite) and faux leather (a man-made leather-look material). Only the genuine leather is a real hide. We keep all four clearly separate, so check each product page.

Genuine leather, Leather Aire, bonded or faux — what's the difference?

Genuine leather is the real thing — a natural hide, premium and characterful, and the only real leather of the four. Leather Aire is our own leather-look material with the easiest care, a simple wipe, and it's not genuine and never faux. Bonded leather combines bonded leather fibres with a polyurethane coating. Faux leather is a separate man-made leather-look material. The product page always states which one a sofa is.

Which of these are real leather?

Only the genuine leather sofas are real leather — a natural hide. Leather Aire and faux leather are man-made, leather-look materials, and bonded leather is a composite of bonded leather fibres with a polyurethane surface, so none of those three is a full natural hide. We never describe Leather Aire, bonded or faux as genuine leather. Each product page states the exact material.

What recliner options are there?

Three comfort options. A non-recliner is a classic fixed sofa with no moving parts, and it's the largest group in the range. A manual recliner leans back and raises a footrest, worked by hand with a lever or push-back, with no power needed. An electric recliner does the same at the touch of a button, powered by a motor, so it needs a nearby socket. The product page tells you which option a particular sofa is.

How do the electric and manual recliners work?

Both lean the seat back and raise a footrest, then return upright — the difference is control. A manual recliner is worked by hand, with a lever or a push-back and no socket needed. An electric recliner is powered by a quiet motor and controlled from a button or handset, stopping wherever you let go, and needs a nearby mains socket. Both are comfort features.

What sizes and combinations are available?

The range is anchored on the 2 seater, with matching combinations if you'd like more seats: 2+2 is two matching 2-seaters, 3+2 is a 3-seater plus a 2-seater, and 3+3 is two 3-seaters. Everything coordinates in the same design and material. Each piece's exact dimensions are on its product page.

Each number is a piece by its number of seats: 3 is a 3-seater and 2 is a 2-seater. So 3+2 is a 3-seater plus a 2-seater — a classic family pairing — while 2+2 is two matching 2-seaters and 3+3 is two 3-seaters. It's a simple way of describing a matching set by the seats in each piece.

What colours are available?

Eleven in all. The grey family spans light grey and grey, alongside smart, forgiving black (the largest colour). Warm neutrals include brown, tan and caramel, especially handsome in leather. Cream is a soft, light option that shows marks more readily than darker tones, so it rewards a little care. And bolder statement shades include blue, green, mustard and red (currently more limited). What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window from the day your order is delivered, on items returned in their original condition. To arrange a return, contact our team within those 14 days and we'll talk you through the next steps. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described.

What happens if my sofa arrives damaged?

If any piece arrives with damage, contact our team as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with a few photographs, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or collection. It helps to check each piece over on delivery before the team leaves where you can, including testing the recline on any reclining models.

Do I need to assemble the sofa myself?

There's very little to do. Our two-person team brings each piece into your room and fits any feet on-site, so it's ready to use. For an electric recliner it's simply a case of plugging into a nearby socket, with no tools needed from you.

What guarantee comes with these sofas?

Every piece is inspected before it leaves us, and your purchase is protected by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described. You also have our 14-day change of mind returns.
