What is in the Cidliano electric recliner range?

It is a genuine leather electric (power) recliner range across five colours — caramel, tan, cream, black and grey. You can choose a recliner armchair, single 2 and 3 seater recliner sofas, and a full ladder of recliner sofa sets, from 2+1 and 3+2 up to three-piece 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1. Because it is one coordinated design, you can furnish a whole room in a consistent powered-recliner suite.

Is the Cidliano range real leather?

Yes. The range is described as genuine leather, meaning real leather rather than a bonded or synthetic alternative, which is hard-wearing, breathable and ages attractively. The exact grade and finish are not confirmed in the current data, so if the precise leather specification matters to you, please check the individual product page or call 02476 705 600 and we will confirm the detail for a specific model.

What is an electric or power recliner?

An electric (power) recliner adjusts at the touch of a button, using a built-in motor to tilt the backrest and raise the footrest smoothly to any position you like, then return it. Unlike a manual recliner, there is no lever or push-back action, so it takes very little effort to operate. Because it is powered, it needs to be plugged into a mains socket — see the power question below.

Does an electric recliner need to be plugged in?

Yes. An electric recliner has a motor, so it needs to be near a mains socket to work. Plan the layout so each powered piece can reach a power point, ideally without a trailing lead across a walkway. Some powered recliners include a battery pack or USB port, but this is not confirmed in the current data, so check the product page or call 02476 705 600 if a nearby socket is a concern.

What is the difference between an electric and a manual recliner?

An electric (power) recliner adjusts with a button and a motor, giving effortless, infinitely adjustable positioning, but needs a mains socket. A manual recliner is operated by hand with a lever or push-back action and needs no electricity. The Cidliano range is electric, so it offers the easier, powered adjustment; the trade-off is that it must be placed within reach of a socket.

How comfortable are the Cidliano recliners?

They are designed for relaxed, everyday comfort, letting you recline smoothly to any position for reading, watching television or unwinding, with the ease of powered adjustment. Comfort is a personal thing, so if you can, it is worth trying a recliner in our showroom before ordering. We describe these simply as comfortable, adjustable seating, and comfort is very much a personal matter.

What colours are available?

Five: caramel, a warm golden tan; tan, a classic mid-brown; cream, a soft light neutral; black, smart and practical; and grey, a cool contemporary tone. (The collection name lists four of these; caramel is also part of the range.) Screens vary, so treat the product images as a guide and, where you can, view the shade in person, and use the colour filter to see which formats each colour currently comes in.

How is caramel different from tan?

Both are warm leather browns, but caramel is generally a little richer and more golden, while tan is a slightly lighter, classic mid-brown. They are close, so if the exact shade matters, compare the product images side by side or, ideally, view them in person, as leather colour can read differently under different lighting. Our team can help you decide on 02476 705 600.

What sizes and configurations are available?

A recliner armchair, single 2 and 3 seater recliner sofas, and a full ladder of sets: 2+1, 3+1, 2+2, 3+2, 3+3, and three-piece 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1. The numbers are the pieces, so a 3+2 is a three-seater plus a two-seater, and a 3+2+1 adds the recliner armchair. This lets you scale the range from a single chair to a full three-piece powered-reclining suite.

Is the recliner armchair part of the same range?

Yes. The Cidliano electric recliner armchair is a matching piece in the same genuine leather and powered design as the sofas, so it coordinates exactly. It works well beside a recliner sofa or on its own as a dedicated relaxing chair, and like the sofas it needs a nearby socket. It can be bought individually or as the single seat within the sets that include a 1.

What does a set like 3+2+1 mean?

The numbers are the pieces: a 3 is a three-seater sofa, a 2 a two-seater and a 1 the recliner armchair. So a 3+2+1 is a three-seater, a two-seater and an armchair; a 2+1+1 is a two-seater with two armchairs; and a 3+3 is two three-seaters. Every piece is a powered recliner, so a set gives you effortless reclining comfort across the whole suite.

Should I choose a single sofa or a set?

It depends on your space and how many people you seat. A single 2 or 3 seater, or the armchair, suits smaller rooms; a 3+2 or 2+2 set suits a family living room; and a three-piece set such as 3+2+1 suits a larger room where you want a coordinated powered suite. Because every piece reclines and needs power, plan the footprint, the recline clearance and socket access for a set before ordering.

How much clearance and power access does a recliner need?

A powered recliner needs room in front for the footrest to rise, a little space behind for the backrest depending on the design, and a mains socket within reach of each piece. Plan for the reclined depth, not just the upright footprint, keep a walkway clear, and route power leads safely. Exact reclined dimensions are not confirmed in the current data, so check the product page.

How do I clean a genuine leather recliner?

Wipe the surface with a clean, soft, dry or barely damp cloth to lift dust, and blot spills promptly rather than rubbing. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, solvents and abrasive pads, and keep the sofa away from radiators and out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can dry leather over time. An occasional suitable leather conditioner helps keep it supple; always follow the product care label.

Can I remove and wash the covers?

No — genuine leather recliners have fixed upholstery rather than removable covers, and the powered mechanisms are built in, so the leather is cleaned in place. Follow the care guidance for cleaning and conditioning instead. If you have a specific question about a particular piece, check the product page or call our team on 02476 705 600 and we will confirm the details.

How much space do I need?

It depends on the configuration and the reclined depth. A single 2 seater or the armchair suits a smaller room; a 3 seater or a 3+2 set suits most living rooms; and a large three-piece set needs a generous space. Exact dimensions are not confirmed in the current data, so plan the full footprint plus recline clearance and socket access, and always check the product-page measurements before ordering.

How do I measure and check delivery access?

Measure the length and depth of the space each piece will sit against, allowing for the footrest when reclined, and for a set plan the full footprint. Then measure the width and height of every doorway, hallway, stairwell and tight turn each piece must pass through, plus lift dimensions if you are above ground level. Treat the product-page measurements as authoritative before ordering.

Which products are currently in stock?

Stock varies by colour and configuration: caramel, tan and cream are largely in stock, while the grey colourway and several of the black pieces are currently out of stock. Sorting by availability is the quickest way to see your real options. Treat the live product pages as authoritative, and use the back-in-stock option on anything unavailable, or call 02476 705 600 for an in-stock alternative.

Can I return a recliner, and what is the return window?

Yes. We offer a 14-day returns window, sometimes described as 14-day change of mind, so you have time to be sure the recliner is right for your room. Because these are large, powered items, please keep the packaging until you are certain and check the exact returns conditions. If you need to arrange a return, contact our team on 02476 705 600 and they will talk you through the next steps.

What should I do if the recliner arrives damaged or the motor fault?

Inspect the recliner on delivery, test the powered action if you can, and report any damage or fault to us as soon as possible on 02476 705 600 with photographs of the issue. Keeping the packaging and noting any concern at the point of delivery helps us resolve things quickly, so we can arrange a repair, replacement or other suitable resolution.

Do the recliners require assembly?

Assembly requirements are not confirmed in the current product data for this range. Powered recliners usually arrive largely ready to use — you plug them in — though some may need feet or a back section attaching, and sets involve several pieces. Please do not assume a particular setup. Check the individual product page, or call 02476 705 600 before ordering if access or assembly is a concern.

What warranty applies, especially on the motors?

We are not stating a specific warranty term for this range because the exact cover is not confirmed in the current product data, and we would rather leave it pending than quote a figure we cannot verify. This is particularly worth confirming for the powered mechanisms and motors. Please check the individual product page, or contact our team on 02476 705 600, before ordering.

How quickly is delivery, and is finance available?

The in-stock designs currently show a short delivery timeframe on their product pages; there is an internal wording point being resolved between the product-level message and our standard policy, so we treat the product-page timeframe as authoritative. Delivery is free to England and Wales by our two-person team. You can also spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, Clearpay in 4 interest-free fortnightly payments, or DivideBuy, interest-free where stated and subject to credit check.
