What is the Dandrea range made from?

The Dandrea range is made from genuine leather, confirmed in every product title. Genuine leather is a natural hide that carries its own grain and softens gently with age, and it is distinct from leather-look or bonded alternatives. Every colour in the range uses the same genuine leather, so your choice comes down to shade rather than material.

What colours are available?

The range is offered in several genuine leather shades. The current feed includes black, grey, light grey, tan, caramel and cream, so there is a colour to suit both bright and darker rooms. Availability can vary by configuration, so check the individual product page for the exact colour and size you want.

Are all Dandrea recliner sofas electric?

Yes. Every piece in this range is an electric power recliner, so the seat and footrest move at the touch of a button rather than with a manual handle. This applies across all colours and configurations, from a single armchair up to a full multi-piece set.

Do the electric recliners need to be plugged in?

Yes. Because each piece is an electric recliner, it needs to sit near a mains socket to power the reclining mechanism. When planning your layout, choose a spot with reasonable access to a power point so the cable is not stretched across a walkway or trip hazard.

Is the Dandrea genuine leather or bonded leather?

It is genuine leather, confirmed in every product title. Genuine leather is a natural hide that wears in and lasts, whereas bonded leather is made from leather fibres bonded to a backing and tends to peel over time. If you would like to compare finishes, browse our wider leather sofas range.

What sizes and configurations are available?

The range covers single pieces and combination sets. You can choose an electric recliner armchair, a 2 seater or a 3 seater on their own, or a matching set such as a 2+1, 3+1, 2+2 or 3+2, with larger suites available in some colours. Each seat in every piece reclines electrically. Check the product page for the configurations available in your chosen colour.

How much clearance does the electric footrest need?

Because these are electric recliners, the footrest extends forward when reclined, so you need clear floor space in front of the sofa for it to open fully. Measure from where the sofa will sit to your coffee table or the nearest wall before ordering, and confirm exact dimensions for your chosen configuration on its product page.

How long will a genuine leather recliner last?

Genuine leather is a hard-wearing natural material that stands up to everyday use and tends to look better as it ages. Keeping it out of direct sunlight, away from radiators and lightly conditioned will help it last. For the specific guarantee or aftercare cover on the electric mechanism and the leather, check the product page or ask our team before ordering.

How do I clean and care for the leather?

Dust regularly with a dry microfibre cloth and wipe every week or two with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Avoid household cleaners, bleach and furniture polish, which can strip the finish. Occasional specialist leather conditioning keeps the hide supple. Lighter shades such as cream show marks more readily, so they reward a little more regular attention than darker colours.

Which colour should I choose?

It depends on your room and household. Darker shades like black and grey hide everyday marks well and suit busy homes, while lighter shades like cream and light grey brighten a space but show marks more. Tan and caramel sit in between as warm mid-tones. Each colour uses the same genuine leather and electric mechanism, so the decision is about look and upkeep.

Is finance available on the Dandrea range?

Yes. You can spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30 (both interest-free), Clearpay in 4 interest-free fortnightly payments, or DivideBuy for longer-term plans. All finance is subject to credit check, with full terms shown on our finance page and at checkout.

How long does delivery take and where do you deliver?

Most in-stock Dandrea pieces are delivered within 7 to 10 working days. Delivery is free to England & Wales and is carried out by a two-person employed team who bring your sofa to the ground floor of your chosen room, access permitting. Larger suites need clear access, so check doorway and hallway widths before your delivery date.

Do you offer old sofa removal?

Yes, old sofa removal can be arranged. Ask about adding this service when you place your order, or speak to our team on 02476 705 600 so we can note it against your delivery. It is a convenient option if you are replacing an existing suite and want the old one taken away on the same visit.

Can I return my Dandrea sofa and what is the window?

Yes. We offer 14-day change of mind returns, so you can order with confidence. If the sofa is not right for your room within that window, contact our team on 02476 705 600 to arrange it, keeping the item in a resaleable condition. Full details are set out in our delivery and returns information.

What happens if it arrives damaged or the mechanism develops a fault?

If anything arrives damaged, or an electric mechanism develops a fault, contact our team as soon as possible on 02476 705 600 with your order details and, where you can, a photograph. We will arrange the appropriate resolution. Your statutory consumer rights apply, and checking the delivery on arrival makes any transit issue quicker to resolve.

Is assembly included or do I need to build it myself?

There is minimal assembly. Our two-person delivery team brings each piece into your chosen ground-floor room and fits any feet or sections on site. Sofa sets arrive as separate pieces that sit together in your chosen layout. If you have any questions about a particular configuration, call us on 02476 705 600 before ordering.

What guarantee or aftercare cover does the range include?

For the full, current details of any guarantee or aftercare cover on the Dandrea range, including the electric mechanism, please check the individual product page or speak to our team on 02476 705 600 before ordering. Your statutory consumer rights always apply. We would rather confirm the exact cover for your chosen piece than quote a figure that may not apply.
