Left-Hand vs Right-Hand Corners

Many of the L-shaped corners here come as left-hand (LHC) or right-hand (RHC) versions — for example the Rupert and Somerford. The handing describes which way the longer run (the chaise or corner return) faces when you stand in front of the sofa looking at it: a right-hand corner has the longer section on your right, a left-hand corner on your left. Getting this right is important, because the wrong hand won't fit your room as intended.
