Are these all recliners?

No, and most are not. The collection is leather sofas generally, and fixed sofas outnumber reclining ones. Valerie, Verona, Dalmore and Chesterfield are fixed ranges; Valencia and Roma include recliners. Use the recliner filter if a mechanism is what you want, rather than assuming from the collection name.

What is the difference between genuine leather, leather and Leather Aire?

Genuine leather is a natural hide that ages to a patina, used only where a product title states it. Leather is a sofa whose title names no grade. Leather Aire is a leather-look upholstery, wipe-clean and needing no conditioner. Each product page states which you are buying.

Do you sell leatherette?

We do not use that word. The leather-look material we sell is called Leather Aire, and it is not leatherette, not faux leather and not genuine leather. Older wording elsewhere on the site uses leatherette; that is wrong and we would rather correct it than repeat it.

Is every sofa here genuine leather?

No, and we do not describe them as though they were. The Dalmore titles state Genuine Leather, so we call those genuine leather. Valerie, Verona, Chesterfield, Valencia and Roma titles state Leather without naming a grade, so we call those leather and claim nothing further. Others again are Leather Aire.

What is the difference between a manual and an electric recliner?

A manual recliner is worked by a side lever, so it has no motor and nothing to plug in. An electric recliner runs from a motor and stops wherever you release the button rather than at fixed notches, but needs a mains socket within reach. A fixed sofa has neither.

Do electric recliners need to be plugged in?

Yes. An electric sofa plugs into an ordinary mains socket, so it needs to sit within reach of one. On a set, several pieces may each need power, so plan where the cables will run before you decide on a layout.

What sizes and configurations are available?

2 seaters, 3 seaters, armchairs, corner sofas and matching sets including 3+2, 3+3, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1. The numbers are the seats in each piece, so a 3+2 is a three-seater and a two-seater. Use the size filter to narrow 634 products before browsing.

What size room do I need, and what should I measure?

Take the width, depth and height from the product page and mark that footprint on your floor with tape. For a recliner, add clearance behind for the backrest and in front for the footrest. Then measure the route in against the packaged dimensions rather than the sofa dimensions.

What does Pre-Order mean on a product?

It means the item is not in stock now and becomes available after a stated lead time, shown on the product card, which can run well beyond our usual delivery window. Pre-order is not the same as in stock and not the same as sold out. Check the lead time before ordering.

How long will a leather sofa last?

That depends on the frame, the upholstery, the mechanism and how the sofa is used, so we do not put a figure on it. Ring us on 02476 705 600 and we will tell you what the manufacturer states for that model rather than give an estimate.

How do I clean and care for the upholstery?

Genuine leather wants dusting, a wipe with a slightly damp cloth and occasional conditioning. Leather Aire wipes clean and needs no conditioner. For all of them, keep the sofa out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators, avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive sponges, and check the care label first.

Is assembly included, or do I need to build the sofa?

There is very little to do. Our two-person team brings each piece into your chosen ground-floor room and fits any feet on site, so it arrives ready to use. Corner sofas arrive in sections that connect together. No tools are required from you.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window, counted from delivery, on items returned unused and in their original condition. Contact us within those 14 days so a collection can be arranged. Your statutory rights sit alongside this and are not limited to that window.

What happens if my sofa arrives damaged?

Ring us on 02476 705 600 as soon as you notice, ideally within 48 hours, and keep the packaging if you have it. Photographs help us resolve it quickly. Damaged and faulty goods are covered by your statutory rights, separately from the 14-day window.

Is there a warranty on these sofas?

There is no frame warranty advertised on this collection, so please do not assume one is in place. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply to faulty or misdescribed goods, and you also have our 14-day returns. For what a manufacturer states on a model, ring us.
