What is the Vantage range?

Is Vantage genuine leather?

Yes. The Vantage range is upholstered in genuine leather — a natural hide, not a leather-look or man-made material. We keep our materials distinct, so it isn't Leather Aire (a leather-look material that isn't genuine hide) and it isn't faux leather (a man-made alternative). Real leather is breathable, hard-wearing and full of natural character.

What is the difference between genuine leather, Leather Aire and faux leather?

Genuine leather is a natural hide — breathable, long-lasting and full of character, ageing to a soft patina, at a higher price. Leather Aire is a leather-look material that isn't genuine hide, giving the look with easy care at a mid price. Faux leather is a man-made, uniform material that costs least. Vantage is genuine leather, and we keep the three clearly distinct.

What are the benefits of a genuine leather sofa?

Genuine leather is breathable and comfortable in warm and cool weather, exceptionally hard-wearing, and ages into a soft, characterful patina rather than looking tired over time. It wipes clean easily and, with a little care including occasional conditioning, lasts for many years — which is what gives a real leather sofa its lasting quality.

What colours are available?

Four: black, cream, grey and tan. Black is smart and hides marks well, grey is a cool contemporary neutral, tan is a warm classic mid-brown that develops a lovely patina, and cream is a soft, light neutral that rewards a little more care as a pale shade. Are Vantage sofas traditional or recliners?

Vantage is a traditional, fixed-frame range — classic, comfortable sofas with no reclining mechanism, so there's nothing to plug in or maintain. The timeless shape suits both modern and more classic rooms and shows the leather off beautifully. If you'd prefer a reclining leather sofa, we have separate recliner ranges to choose from.

What sizes and combinations are available?

How do I care for a genuine leather sofa?

Dust weekly and wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth, then dry with a soft cloth. Blot spills promptly rather than rubbing, and avoid harsh chemical cleaners and abrasive sponges. Because it's a natural hide, apply an occasional leather conditioner to keep it supple, and keep the sofa out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators, as heat and strong sun can dry leather over time.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window from the day your sofa is delivered, on items returned in their original condition. To arrange a return, contact our team within those 14 days and we'll talk you through the next steps. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described.

What happens if my sofa arrives damaged?

If your sofa arrives with any damage, contact our team as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours — with a few photographs, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or collection. It helps to check the sofa over on delivery before the team leaves where you can.

Do I need to assemble the sofa myself?

There's very little to do. Our two-person team brings the sofa into your room and fits any feet on-site, so it's ready to use. Larger sets arrive as separate pieces, with no tools needed.

What guarantee comes with these sofas?

Every sofa is inspected before it leaves us, and your purchase is protected by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which cover goods that are faulty or not as described.
