Three corner sofa beds, two in stock. All three are the same Verona High Back design in cream, grey and black: a fabric L shape that seats a family by day and opens out for a guest at night. Telling the sofa bed from the sofa

Worth knowing before you browse, because it is easy to get wrong. The Verona High Back range includes both a fixed corner sofa and a corner sofa bed in the same fabrics and colours, and closed they look almost identical. The space in front matters more than the space it stands in

The measurement people forget. A corner sofa bed needs its closed footprint plus clear floor in front to open into, and whatever sits in that zone has to move every time. A coffee table you shift at midnight is the difference between a sofa bed that gets used and one that does not. Take the open dimensions from the product page and tape both footprints on your floor. Occasional use, not a replacement for a bed

We would rather be straight about this. A sofa bed of this kind is built for occasional use: a guest for a weekend, a spare room you do not have. For that it does the job well. Which way the corner runs

A corner sofa cannot be turned round after delivery, so orientation is fixed at the point of order. Naming across our corner range is not yet consistent: some products state it clearly and others do not. If the sofa bed you want does not say which way the long return runs, treat that as a question for us rather than an assumption for you. Our FAQ page has the number.

Cream, grey or black

Three colours, one fabric, one design. Grey and black are the most forgiving of everyday marks, which matters more here because the piece is used as seating and as a bed. Cream keeps a room light and is the one most people fall for in photographs, but it shows marks soonest and a corner has more surface to mark. Bedding, and where it lives

These have no storage compartment, so the duvet and pillows live somewhere else. That sounds obvious and it is the detail that decides whether a sofa bed gets used. Getting it into the room

Easier than it looks. Corner sofas arrive in sections that connect together, which is why they clear doorways a large fixed sofa would not. What matters is the packaged dimension of the largest single section, against your narrowest doorway or turn. If you have a tight turn at the bottom of a stair, ring us before ordering. Care, and looking after the mechanism

Vacuum the fabric with an upholstery tool, with attention to the join between sections and around the mechanism, where dust collects. Blot spills from the outside inwards rather than rubbing, and keep it out of direct sunlight. One thing specific to a sofa bed: open it occasionally even when nobody is staying. Stock, and what is available

Two of the three are in stock and the grey is down to a single unit. The black is sold out and carries a back-in-stock alert; set one and you will be emailed if it returns, though we will not promise a date. Delivery

Delivery is free across England and Wales and usually takes 7–10 working days. Our own two-person team brings the sections into your chosen ground-floor room, connects them and takes the packaging away. Ask them to open the bed once before they leave, so you have seen the mechanism work. Removal of your old sofa can be arranged at the same time. Full timescales are on our delivery information page.
