Are all of these sofas modern in style?

Not currently. The collection mixes contemporary designs with the Chesterfield Antique range, a traditional buttoned style rather than a modern one. If you want strictly contemporary shapes, filter by range and skip Chesterfield. We would rather say so than let the collection name do the describing.

Does Antique mean the Chesterfield sofas are genuine antiques?

No. Antique describes the style, the traditional deep-buttoned Chesterfield look, not the age of the sofa. These are new sofas made in an antique-style finish, not second-hand or period pieces. The product page carries the specification for the model you are looking at.

What is the difference between genuine leather and Leather Aire?

Genuine leather is a natural hide. It varies in grain and shade between hides and develops a patina with use. Leather Aire is a leather-look upholstery: not genuine leather and not faux leather. It wipes clean and needs no conditioner. Each product page states which you are buying.

Is every sofa here genuine leather?

No, and we do not describe them as though they were. Some titles state Genuine Leather, for example the Dalmore, Cidliano and Dandrea sets. Others state Leather without naming a grade, so we call those leather and claim nothing further. Others again are Leather Aire.

What is the difference between a manual and an electric recliner?

A manual recliner is worked by a side lever, so it has no motor and nothing to plug in. An electric recliner runs from a motor and stops wherever you release the button rather than at fixed notches, but it needs a mains socket within reach.

What sizes and configurations are available?

2 seaters, 3 seaters, armchairs, corner sofas and matching sets including 2+2, 3+2, 3+3, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1. The numbers are the seats in each piece, so a 3+2+1 is a three-seater, a two-seater and an armchair. Use the size filter to narrow the grid first.

What size room do I need, and what should I measure?

Take the width, depth and height from the product page and mark that footprint on your floor with tape. For a recliner, add clearance behind for the backrest and in front for the footrest. Then measure the route in and compare it against the packaged dimensions.

How long will a leather sofa last?

How do I clean and care for the upholstery?

It depends on the type. Genuine leather wants dusting, a damp cloth and occasional conditioning. Leather Aire wipes clean and needs no conditioner. For all of them, keep the sofa out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, and avoid harsh cleaners.

Is assembly included, or do I need to build the sofa?

There is very little to do. Our two-person team brings the sofa into your chosen ground-floor room and fits any feet on site, so it arrives ready to use. Corner sofas arrive in sections that connect together, and an electric sofa plugs into a socket. No tools are required from you.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day change of mind returns window, counted from delivery, on items returned unused and in their original condition. Contact us within those 14 days so a collection can be arranged. Your statutory rights sit alongside this and are not limited to that window.

What happens if my sofa arrives damaged?

Ring us on 02476 705 600 as soon as you notice, ideally within 48 hours, and keep the packaging if you have it. Photographs help us resolve it quickly. Damaged and faulty goods are covered by your statutory rights, separately from the 14-day window.

Is there a warranty on these sofas?
