Modern and classic styles in this collection

Not everything here is modern in style. The Chesterfield Antique range sits in this grid, and a deep-buttoned Chesterfield is a traditional shape rather than a contemporary one. If you want strictly modern lines, filter by range and skip Chesterfield. The three upholstery types, kept distinct

Three materials run through this collection and we do not blur them. Genuine leather is a natural hide that ages to a patina; we use the term only where a title states it, as the Dalmore, Cidliano and Dandrea sets do. Leather is what we call a sofa whose title names no grade, because assuming one invites returns. Leather Aire is a leather-look upholstery: not genuine leather, and not faux. Fixed, manual recliner or electric recliner

A fixed sofa has no mechanism and no cable to plan around. A manual recliner tilts back using a side lever, with nothing to plug in. An electric recliner runs from a motor and settles anywhere between upright and fully back rather than at a fixed notch. Each product page states which a sofa is. Planning power and clearance for an electric sofa

An electric sofa plugs into an ordinary mains socket, so the question is where the cable runs. That matters more on a set, because several pieces may each need power, and more again on a corner sofa away from a wall. Sizes, sets and single seats

In a set the numbers are the seats in each piece, so a 3+2+1 is a three-seater, a two-seater and an armchair. Buying a set means every piece matches; buying separately over time works too, provided you stay within one range. Corner sofas in the collection

A corner sofa seats more people in the same floor area than two separate sofas, which suits a family room. It also commits more of the room, so it is the format most worth taping out first. Colours across the collection

Black, brown, tan, red, grey and light grey all appear. Black and grey are the most forgiving of everyday marks; brown and tan are the warm options. Red appears on the Chesterfield range and is a deliberate, traditional choice rather than a neutral. Availability differs by range, so use the colour filter. Measuring before you order

Take the width, depth and height from the product page, mark that footprint on your floor with tape and live with it for a day: a sofa reads differently in a room than in a photograph. Add recline clearance at both ends if it is a recliner, then measure the route in against packaged dimensions, not sofa dimensions. Our sofa measuring guide sets out the method.

Care by upholstery type

Care follows the material, which is why we label it per product. Genuine leather wants dusting, a damp cloth and occasional conditioning. Leather Aire wipes clean and needs no conditioner. For every type, keep the sofa out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, and avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive sponges. Full guidance is in our leather care guide.

Stock and sold-out items

244 of the 280 are in stock. On a collection this size that is healthy, but individual configurations do sell out and some are down to one or two units. Set a back-in-stock alert on any sold-out product and you will be emailed if it returns. We will not promise a date, because restocking is a buying decision rather than a schedule. Delivery

Delivery is free across England and Wales and usually takes 7–10 working days. Your sofa is brought by our own two-person team, who carry it into your chosen ground-floor room and set it in place, access permitting. Corner sofas arrive in sections, which makes access easier, and removal of your old sofa can be arranged at the same time. Full timescales and coverage are on our delivery information page.

You can spread the cost with one of our named providers: PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, Clearpay and DivideBuy. Returns, warranty and your rights

Our 14-day change of mind returns policy covers unused items in original condition, counted from delivery. Contact us within those 14 days so a collection can be arranged. Separately, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 cover faulty or misdescribed goods, and are not time-limited.
