What is in this collection

Every one of these is manual, not electric

Worth stating plainly, because the collection name says otherwise. All three product titles read Manual Recliner. The seats are worked by a side lever rather than a motor, so there is nothing to plug in and no cable to route around a walkway. Only the grey is in stock

The grey 5 seat is the only piece available at the moment. Both black versions are sold out. Worth saying up front on a three-product collection, and worth saying twice, because wording elsewhere has described the range as available in black. Why a manual recliner is a real choice, not a compromise

No socket, no cable, no motor. A manual recliner goes anywhere in a room without planning a power run, which matters more on a corner than on a single chair, because a corner often sits away from the sockets. There is also one fewer component to fail. What you give up is fine control: an electric stops wherever you release the button, a manual settles at set positions. The 4 seat and the 5 seat

Both are L shapes with the same manual mechanism and the same leather. The difference is the length of the longer run and one extra seat. We will not quote dimensions, because exact measurements are not confirmed in the data we hold and the seat count alone does not tell you the footprint. Take the figures from the product page. Which way the corner runs

The decision that costs money if it goes wrong, because a corner sofa cannot be turned round once it arrives. The orientation is not currently stated on these product pages, which is a gap we are closing. Until it is, measure which wall the longer section needs and ring us to confirm rather than working it out from a photograph. Our FAQ page has the number.

Clearance, behind and in front

A recliner needs room at both ends: behind for the back to tilt, in front for the footrest. The exact figure varies by model and is not confirmed in our data, so take it from the product page rather than a rule of thumb, and do not push the sofa flush to the wall. The leather

The Roma titles say Leather without naming a grade, so that is what we call it. We do not describe it as genuine, bonded or faux, because none of those is supported by the product data. Measuring, and getting it into the room

Measure both wall runs and the depth of each section, not just the longer one, mark the whole shape on your floor with tape and add the recline clearance at both ends. For access, corner sofas usually arrive in sections that connect together, so what matters is the packaged dimension of the largest single section. Care

Dust regularly and wipe with a slightly damp cloth rather than rubbing at marks. Keep the sofa out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, and avoid harsh cleaners. Delivery

Delivery is free across England and Wales and usually takes 7–10 working days. Our own two-person team brings the sections into your chosen ground-floor room, connects them and takes the packaging away. Ask them to work the recline once before they leave.
