What is available right now

Manual or electric: which mechanism

A manual recliner is worked by a side lever and has no motor and nothing to plug in, which makes it the simpler object to place anywhere in a room. An electric recliner runs from a motor and is worked by a button, so it settles anywhere rather than at a fixed notch, but it needs a mains socket within reach. How the material is described

Every chair here is leather, but the grade is not uniform. One chair, the Renato cream, states Genuine Leather in its title, so that is what we call it. The other six state Leather without naming a grade, so we describe those as leather and stop there. Calling a chair genuine leather when its title says only leather is the sort of overclaim that produces returns. The three ranges compared

Valencia is the only range here offering a manual chair alongside electric ones. Renato covers the most colours and carries the one confirmed genuine leather chair. Amarien appears once, in tan. Colours across the collection

Black is the most forgiving of everyday marks, though it shows dust more clearly than a mid-tone. Cream keeps a space light but shows marks most readily. Sizing, clearance and power

Take the width, depth and height from the product page and mark that footprint on your floor with tape, then add clearance behind for the backrest and in front for the footrest: a chair that fits closed can still be unusable against a wall. Where a modern recliner chair works

A single recliner earns its place where a second sofa would not fit: a reading corner, a bay window, or a spare seat beside a three-seater. Comfort and construction

The frame carries the reclining mechanism, so it determines whether a chair still feels solid after years of use. Care by material

All seven chairs are leather, so the routine is broadly the same. Wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth rather than rubbing, and keep the chair out of direct sunlight and away from a radiator, since sustained heat dries leather out. Delivery

Delivery is free across England and Wales and usually takes 7–10 working days. Your chair is brought by our own two-person team, who carry it into your chosen ground-floor room and set it in place, access permitting, rather than leaving it at the door. Returns, warranty and your rights

Our 14-day change of mind returns policy covers unused items in original condition, counted from delivery. Contact us within those 14 days so a collection can be arranged. Separately, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 cover faulty or misdescribed goods, and are not time-limited.
