Renato Caramel Electric Recliner Sofas

11 products

Renato Caramel Electric Recliner Sofas at Furniture InstoreWarm caramel genuine leather electric recliners, from a single armchair to a 3+2+1 suite, with every configuration available now.

The Renato Caramel range at a glance

Eleven configurations in one caramel finish, and nothing on back order. You can start with a single armchair, take a 2 or 3 seater on its own, or order a full suite in one go. Because the finish runs unchanged across the range, a piece added next year will still match one bought today. The size and configuration filters above the grid narrow it faster than scrolling. For the other Renato colours, browse the wider Renato range.

Genuine leather on all eleven titles

Every product title in this colourway states Genuine Leather, the armchair included, so the material is consistent from the smallest piece to the largest suite. That is not true of every Renato colour, which makes this one of the more straightforward to buy into. Genuine leather varies slightly in grain and shade between hides, so two pieces will never be exact copies of each other. For the wider offering, see our genuine leather sofas collection.

Caramel as a colour

Caramel is a warm mid-brown with more golden depth than a flat tan. On leather it reads richer under lamplight than daylight, which is worth knowing if the room is mainly used in the evening. It suits schemes built on natural materials, wood, wool, rattan and stone, and it gives a room a focal point without the weight of a dark suite. Marks show less on it than on a pale neutral. For warm mid-tones across brands, see our tan sofas collection.

What electric reclining involves

A motor drives the seat and footrest, so you hold a button on the handset and the piece stops where you release it. Two practical points follow: the sofa needs a mains socket within reach, and the cable wants a route clear of walkways and away from the mechanism. Extras such as USB ports or a wall-hugger action vary by model and are listed per product. Reclining is a comfort and positioning feature. See our electric recliner sofas collection for the wider powered category.

The armchair, 2 seater and 3 seater

Three standalone pieces, all available. The armchair works alone in a corner or paired with a sofa you already own, and it is the least expensive way into the finish. The 2 seater suits a snug or a smaller lounge. The 3 seater is the standard living room size. Widths and depths differ per piece, so take them from the product page and tape the footprint out first. For a single powered chair, see our recliner armchairs collection.

The eight sofa sets

All eight combinations are in stock. The numbers give the seats in each piece, so a 3+1+1 is a three seater with two separate armchairs rather than a five-seat sofa. Sets arrive as separate pieces in the matching caramel finish, which usually makes them easier to get through a doorway than one large sofa. Choose on room shape as much as headcount. For coordinated suites, see our recliner sofa sets collection.

Building a room in stages

Full availability makes this the colourway to choose if you would rather not buy everything at once. A 2 seater now and an armchair later gives you the same result as a 2+1 set, spread over two orders, and the finish will match because nothing has changed between them. The one caveat is that stock moves, so if a specific piece is central to the plan it is worth ordering it early. For the compact powered size, see our 2 seater recliner sofas collection.

Space, clearance and the route in

Measure the reclined footprint rather than the upright one: wall to the tip of the raised footrest, plus clearance behind for the backrest unless the model is wall-hugging. Add the socket position so the cable does not cross the floor. Then check the route, doorway widths and heights, hallway turns, stair landings and lift dimensions above the ground floor, against the packaged dimensions. Our sofa measuring guide covers the method.

Caramel or tan?

The two warm finishes in the range, and the closest pair to choose between. Caramel has more golden depth; tan is flatter and slightly lighter. Both sit with wood and natural textures. The product images side by side will settle it faster than any description. See our Renato Tan electric recliner sofas page.

Caramel or cream?

Both are warm, but they do opposite jobs. Cream keeps a room light and open, which helps where daylight is limited. Caramel adds depth and gives the room a focal point, and it is far more forgiving of everyday marks. For the pale warm option, see our Renato Cream leather recliners page.

Caramel or grey?

A straight warm against cool decision. Caramel brings colour temperature into the room; grey stays neutral and is easier to match to furniture you already own. If the scheme around the sofa is likely to change, grey is the safer bet. For the cooler neutral, see our Renato Grey electric recliner sofas page.

Caring for caramel leather

Follow the care instructions supplied with your piece first, since products differ. In general, dust with a dry cloth, blot spills promptly rather than rubbing them, and keep the sofa out of long hours of direct sun, which will lift colour from a warm leather sooner than a cool one. Use only a product approved for genuine leather and test it somewhere hidden. Full guidance is in our leather care guide.

Delivery

Delivery is free across England and Wales, brought by our own two-person team to the ground floor, and it usually takes 7–10 working days. Clear the space and check the route beforehand. Sets arrive as separate pieces. With the whole range in stock there is no restock wait to plan around. Terms are on our delivery information page.

Finance

Four providers are available: PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, Clearpay and DivideBuy. Each is interest-free and subject to credit check, and each sets its own eligibility, instalment count and schedule at the checkout rather than us setting them here. Our finance options page explains how each works.

Returns

Change your mind and our 14-day returns policy applies to unused items in original condition, counted from the delivery date. Contact us before sending anything back so a collection can be arranged, since a powered sofa should not go by post. Faulty or misdescribed goods sit outside that window under your statutory rights. Our FAQ page sets out the steps.

Why choose Renato Caramel

Two things stand out. Every configuration is available, so a whole room can arrive in one delivery rather than in instalments as stock allows. And genuine leather is confirmed on all eleven titles including the armchair, which is not the case across every Renato colour. Our Coventry showroom lets you see the finish under real light and work the handset first. Customers rate us Trustpilot Excellent, 4.8★ from 4,800+ reviews. For the standard powered size, see our 3 seater recliner sofas collection.

Frequently asked questions about Renato Caramel

What is in the Renato Caramel range?
Eleven configurations in one caramel finish, all electric recliners: an armchair, a 2 seater and a 3 seater, plus eight matching sofa sets covering 2+1, 2+2, 3+1, 3+2, 3+3, 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1. Every one of them is in stock today, so any configuration can be ordered without waiting for a restock.
Is every piece genuine leather?
Yes. All eleven product titles state Genuine Leather, the armchair included, so the material runs consistently across the whole colourway. Grain and shade vary slightly between hides, which is normal for genuine leather and means no two pieces are identical.
How does the electric recline work?
A motor drives the seat and footrest. You hold a button on the handset to move the piece and release it to stop, so you set the position rather than choosing from fixed stops. It runs from a mains socket, so plan where the nearest one is before deciding where the sofa goes.
How much space does a recliner need?
More than its upright footprint. Allow clear floor in front for the footrest to rise, and clearance behind for the backrest unless the model is a wall-hugger design. Take the exact reclined depth from the product page and tape it out on your floor before ordering.
How long will a leather recliner last?
That depends on the individual piece, how often the motor runs and how the leather is looked after, so we do not put one figure across the range. We can tell you what the manufacturer states for a specific model. Ring 02476 705 600 and we will check it.
How do I care for caramel leather?
Dust with a dry cloth and blot spills promptly rather than rubbing them. Keep the sofa out of long hours of direct sun, which lifts colour from a warm leather sooner than a cool one. Use only a product approved for genuine leather and test it on a hidden area first.
What is the difference between caramel and tan?
They are the two warm finishes in the range and sit close together. Caramel carries more golden depth; tan is flatter and a shade lighter. Both work with wood and natural textures. Comparing the product images, or seeing them in the showroom, will settle it faster than a description.
Does the sofa arrive assembled?
Pieces arrive ready to use rather than flat-packed, and our two-person team positions them in a ground-floor room. Where a model needs the backrest fitting or the power connecting on arrival, that is set out on its product page, so check before the delivery date.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Ring 02476 705 600 as soon as you notice and keep the packaging if you still have it. Photographs help us resolve it quickly. Damaged and faulty goods are covered by your statutory rights under consumer law, separately from the 14-day change-of-mind window.
Can I return a Renato Caramel sofa?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused and in original condition. Contact us before returning anything so collection can be arranged, because a powered sofa should not go back by post. Your statutory rights apply in addition to this.
Is there a warranty on this range?
There is no specific warranty term advertised on this range, so please do not assume one is in place. Your statutory rights under consumer law always apply to faulty or misdescribed goods. For what a manufacturer states on a particular piece, ring 02476 705 600.
How long does delivery take, and is it free?
Delivery is free across England and Wales, handled by our own two-person team to the ground floor, and it usually takes 7–10 working days. With every piece in this range currently in stock, there is no restock wait to factor in.
