Which Sets Can You Order Today?

Three of the eight, and the pattern behind that is worth knowing because it explains what to look at instead.

Every unavailable set contains a 2 seater; every available one does not. The 2 seater is out of stock, and its absence removes the sets built around it. Left-Hand Versus Right-Hand Corner Chaise

This is the one decision on this page that cannot be undone, so it is worth a minute.

Left-hand and right-hand are two separate products, not one product with an option. The shape of the sofa itself differs — which side the chaise section runs along — so a left-hand version cannot be turned around to serve a right-hand corner.

Do not rely on the label alone. Retailers do not all define left and right the same way: some describe the orientation as you look at the sofa, others as you sit on it, and those give opposite answers. Stand in the room, face the corner where the sofa will go, note which side the chaise needs to run along as you look at it, then ring 02476 705 600 and describe it that way. Armchair, 2 Seater and 3 Seater

Start with the space each piece has to occupy rather than the number of people you want to seat.

Measure the run available, then allow clearance at each end so the piece reads as placed rather than wedged. The armchair earns its place angled into the room rather than flat against a wall. Measuring Before You Order

Five minutes here prevents the one problem that cannot be fixed on delivery day.

In the room: measure the width available for each piece, the depth it projects and the walkway you need to keep clear. On a corner chaise, measure both walls separately and the chaise projection. Mark the full footprint with tape if the room is tight — on an L shape the outline tells you far more than the numbers.

On the route in: measure the narrowest point of the whole journey — door width and height, hallway width, the tightest turn, any stair landing. If a lift is involved, measure the door aperture plus internal depth and height. Allow for packaging, which adds to every dimension. On a set, check each piece individually. Styling Grey Fabric Sofas

Grey is the most adaptable upholstery colour we sell, which is both its strength and the reason rooms built around it can fall flat.

Against neutral walls a grey sofa recedes and the room feels calm, but it needs something else for definition. Warm woods such as oak and walnut are the easiest fix — they stop a grey scheme reading cold. Dark woods give sharper contrast and suit a more formal room, though they can weigh it down if the walls are also dark.

A rug with pattern or a contrasting tone anchors the seating and stops a grey sofa merging into a grey floor. Cushions do the same job for far less and can change with the season. Start with the care label on the product itself — guidance varies by fabric and the label is the authoritative source, not this page. As general practice: vacuum with a suitable upholstery attachment where the label permits, working into the seams; blot spills promptly rather than rubbing; and test any cleaning product in an inconspicuous area first.

Keep upholstery out of the direct path of strong sunlight, which fades fabric unevenly. We are not going to tell you the covers come off or that the cushions are washable — neither is recorded, and both are the kind of assumption that causes damage. Mixed — seven of the thirteen products can currently be ordered and six cannot, and several of the available ones are down to low single figures.

What that means practically: the 3 seater, the armchair, both corner orientations and three of the eight sets remain available, and between them they cover most layouts. Delivery, Finance and Returns

Delivery. Most in-stock items arrive within 7–10 working days, free to England and Wales, carried out by a two-person employed team rather than a third-party courier. Returns and cover. Furniture Instore offers 14-day returns — a 14-day change of mind window from delivery, with the item in the condition it arrived in. A set is sold as a set and returned as a set. On faults, there is no separate manufacturer warranty; your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full.
