Twelve products in one warm brown. Four individual pieces — footstool, armchair, 2 seater and 3 seater — and eight set configurations: 2+1, 3+1, 2+2, 3+2, 3+3, 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1.
Everything shares the same frame and upholstery, so any combination matches. Our full sofa range sits above.
Leather Aire is a man-made upholstery material with a leather-like surface. It is not animal hide.
We say so plainly because it matters to how you choose and how you look after it. If you have seen this range described simply as “leather” elsewhere, Leather Aire is the accurate term and the one we use. We keep the two distinct rather than treating them as interchangeable, and we have flagged the shorter wording for correction.
If genuine hide is what you want, ring 02476 705 600 or start with our genuine leather sofas instead.
Three practical differences, neither material better outright.
Cleaning. Aire wipes clean easily because the surface is sealed. Hide is more forgiving of a spill left a while but needs conditioning.
Ageing. Hide develops a patina and softens; a coated surface does not, and can show wear where it flexes most.
Cost. Aire is meaningfully less expensive, which is why this range sits where it does.
All eight standard combinations. Two-piece: 2+1, 3+1, 2+2, 3+2, 3+3. Three-piece: 2+1+1, 3+1+1, 3+2+1.
The shorthand is simple: the first number is the largest sofa, each further number another piece. The sets are two thirds of this range and each costs less than the same pieces bought separately. Our sofa sets collection covers these configurations across every range.
Yes, and this page lets you check it — every piece and every set is priced here.
Compare any set against its component pieces and the saving is visible. The saving grows with the size of the set, so if you are weighing a smaller set against a larger one, the gap is narrower than the headline prices suggest.
Count the positions in your room that can take furniture, before you think about seat count.
Two usable positions means a two-piece set whatever the seat count. Three opens up the 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1 — that single count rules most of the eight in or out. Our 3+1+1 sofa sets collection covers that configuration.
It is one of the more practical surfaces we sell for a busy household. Spills wipe off rather than soaking in, which is the main advantage over fabric and the reason this material exists.
One honest caveat: a coated surface can scuff or scratch where a woven fabric would not. If you have a cat that uses furniture, that is worth weighing rather than discovering. We would rather set the expectation now than have you find out later.
All twelve products are in stock, most with good depth and one set down to six.
That is unusual: nothing missing and no configuration you would wait for. Stock moves, so the figure on the page when you look is the reliable one. Reduced stock across other ranges appears in our outlet range.
Two decisions, and on a single-colour range they go quickly.
How many places in the room can take furniture? That settles which of the eight sets are candidates.
A set costs less and matches by definition. Separates suit a room furnished gradually. Our sofa buying guide works through the wider decision.
That depends on the configuration rather than the range, since every Valerie piece is a standard size for its type.
Measure each position separately rather than adding widths together, because the pieces will not sit in a line. Mark the footprints with tape if the room is tight. Dimensions sit on the product pages. If even the 2 seater is too much, our small sofas collection covers smaller footprints.
Measure the narrowest point on the whole route: door width and height, hallway width, the tightest turn, and any stair landing you have to pivot on.
On any set containing a three seater, that piece is the constraint — measure it and the smaller pieces will follow. If a lift is involved, measure the door aperture plus internal depth and height. Our customer FAQs page covers the access questions we field most often.
Simpler than hide, and the differences matter.
Wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth and deal with spills promptly. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and solvents, which can damage a coated surface in a way they would not damage a woven fabric. And do not use leather conditioner — it is formulated for animal hide and does nothing useful on Aire, which is exactly the kind of mistake the vaguer “leather” wording invites.
Keep it away from radiators and out of strong direct sunlight. Heat and UV are what age a coated surface fastest, particularly at seat fronts and arm tops where it flexes most.
One of the better ranges for it, because every piece is sold separately and all twelve are available.
Two cautions. Coated materials can vary slightly in tone between production runs, so a piece bought a year later may not match exactly — a set is made and delivered together, which removes that risk. And stock positions change. The footstool is the exception worth adding separately: it is in none of the eight sets. Our 2 seater sofas collection covers that size across every range.
Most in-stock items arrive within 7–10 working days, free to England and Wales, by a two-person employed team rather than a courier. They bring every piece into your chosen ground-floor room where access allows and fit any feet on site. If you are outside England and Wales, ring 02476 705 600 before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Old sofa removal is available on request. Full details are on our delivery information page.
You can spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, both interest-free, Clearpay in 4 interest-free fortnightly payments, or DivideBuy for longer-term plans. All finance is subject to a credit check, and the options open to you are confirmed at checkout.
Furniture Instore offers 14-day returns — a 14-day change of mind window from delivery. Because a set is sold as a set, it is returned as a set. If something arrives damaged, tell the delivery team and call 02476 705 600 the same day. On faults we would rather be plain: there is no separate frame warranty. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full, including that goods must be as described — which is why we describe this range as Leather Aire rather than leather. Provider terms are on our finance options page.
A complete twelve-product range with every piece and every set in stock, and an honest description of what it is made from. Delivery is free to England and Wales by our own two-person team, and we hold a 4.8★ Excellent rating from over 4,800 genuine Trustpilot reviews.
Finance is available through PayPal, Klarna, Clearpay and DivideBuy, subject to credit check, and 14-day returns apply. Leather Aire is worth feeling in person — the difference from hide is obvious to the hand and invisible in a photograph. Our Coventry showroom at 440–450 Stoney Stanton Road is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, on 02476 705 600. A matching footstool finishes it well.
