Twelve products, one colourway, one frame design. Four individual pieces — footstool, armchair, 2 seater and 3 seater — and eight set configurations: 2+1, 3+1, 2+2, 3+2, 3+3, 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 3+2+1.
That completeness is the range's genuine advantage: you are not choosing between what suits the room and what happens to be available, nor matching pieces across ranges where tone and grain differ. The sets are also priced below the same pieces bought individually.
| Product type | Pieces | Typical role |
|---|---|---|
| Footstool | 1 | Sold separately; not included in any of the eight sets |
| Armchair | 1 | Standalone seat, or the “+1” in five of the set configurations |
| 2 Seater Sofa | 1 | Compact runs and smaller rooms |
| 3 Seater Sofa | 1 | The main sofa in most layouts |
| Sofa sets | 2 or 3 | Eight ready-made combinations covering two- and three-position rooms |
Our sofa sets collection covers these configurations across every range we stock.
This needs setting out plainly, because our own product data is currently inconsistent.
The product descriptions refer to “leather aire”. Leather Aire is a man-made upholstery material with a leather-like surface — it is not animal hide. The product titles, however, say only “leather”, and elsewhere the range has been described in terms that would suggest hide. Those statements cannot all be right.
We are treating this range as leather aire, or leather-look coated upholstery, until our buying team confirms otherwise. That is the cautious reading, and it is the one that protects you: if you are told a material is hide and it is not, the purchase is misdescribed. If you are told it may be coated and it turns out to be hide, nothing is lost.
| Term | What it means | Supported for this range? |
|---|---|---|
| Leather Aire | Man-made leather-look coated material | ✓ Used in the product descriptions — the working assumption |
| Leather (unqualified) | Ambiguous; commonly read as hide | ⚠ Used in the titles, but too vague to rely on |
| Genuine leather | Animal hide | ✗ Not supported. No authoritative confirmation exists |
| Authoritative field required | Composition confirmed by buying / supplier specification | ⚠ Outstanding — requested across all 12 products |
If hide specifically is what you want, ring 02476 705 600 before ordering, or start with our leather sofas collection instead.
Start with the space each piece has to occupy rather than the number of people you want to seat.
Measure the run available, then allow clearance at each end so the piece reads as placed rather than wedged. A 2 seater that suits its space beats a 3 seater squeezed into it — the difference in usable comfort is smaller than the difference in visual weight.
The armchair earns its place angled into the room rather than flat against a wall. Our 2 seater sofas and 3 seater sofas collections cover both sizes.
Count the positions in your room that can genuinely take furniture before you think about anything else. Two usable positions points to a two-piece set; three opens up the three-piece combinations.
| Set | Pieces | Composition | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2+1 | 2 | 2 seater + armchair | Smaller rooms needing two positions |
| 3+1 | 2 | 3 seater + armchair | A main sofa with a separate chair |
| 2+2 | 2 | Two 2 seaters | Facing or L-shaped layouts in a compact room |
| 3+2 | 2 | 3 seater + 2 seater | The most common two-piece arrangement |
| 3+3 | 2 | Two 3 seaters | Larger rooms with two long walls |
| 2+1+1 | 3 | 2 seater + two armchairs | Three positions without a large sofa |
| 3+1+1 | 3 | 3 seater + two armchairs | A main sofa plus two chairs |
| 3+2+1 | 3 | 3 seater + 2 seater + armchair | The fullest layout in the range |
The naming tells you the pieces rather than a guaranteed number of people — comfortable occupancy depends on the individual dimensions, which sit on each product page.
Cream is a warm neutral rather than a plain one, and it behaves differently from grey in a room.
Against dark woods — walnut, oak stained dark, black-painted furniture — cream gives contrast without the starkness of white, and the room reads warmer. Against light woods such as birch, ash or pale oak it recedes and the effect is softer and more uniform, which suits a smaller room but can look flat unless something else adds depth.
That depth is easiest to add with textiles. A patterned or darker rug anchors a cream sofa and stops it floating; cushions in a stronger shade do the same for far less and can change seasonally. On walls, a warm off-white or soft clay tone keeps the scheme coherent, while a darker wall behind the sofa gives definition.
One practical point rather than a styling one: cream shows marks more readily than a mid or dark tone. Worth planning around — position, rugs and washable throws all help. Our footstools collection covers matching options.
Five minutes here prevents the one problem that cannot be fixed on delivery day.
In the room: measure the width available for each piece, the depth it will project, and the walkway you need to keep clear in front of it. Mark the footprints on the floor with tape if the room is tight — on a multi-piece set the outline tells you far more than the numbers do. Leave clearance around the footstool, which is easy to forget because it sits low.
On the route in: measure the narrowest point of the whole journey, not just the front door — door width and height, hallway width, the tightest turn, and any stair landing. If a lift is involved, measure the door aperture plus internal depth and height. Allow for packaging, which adds to every dimension.
On any set containing a three seater, that piece is the constraint: measure it and the rest will follow. Exact dimensions are published on the individual product pages, and our customer FAQs page covers the access questions we field most often.
Both are part of the same range in the same colourway, which is the point of them — they match rather than nearly match, and matching upholstery across different ranges rarely works.
The armchair is sold on its own and also appears as the “+1” in five of the eight sets. The footstool is sold separately and is not included in any set, so it needs adding to your order deliberately. We describe it as a footstool rather than making claims about storage or extra seating, because neither is recorded in the product data.
One item we have flagged internally: we have asked our buying team to confirm the footstool carries the same upholstery specification as the seating. It is a reasonable assumption within a matched range, but it is an assumption, and we would rather verify it.
Cautious general guidance, because the exact composition is not yet confirmed.
Wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth and deal with spills promptly. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and solvents, which can damage a coated surface in ways they would not damage a woven fabric. Keep the furniture away from radiators and out of strong direct sunlight — heat and UV age a coated surface fastest.
Do not reach for leather conditioner. It is formulated for animal hide; on a coated man-made surface it does nothing useful and on some coatings it can cause harm. Until the material is confirmed and the manufacturer's care guidance is available, ring 02476 705 600 before using any proprietary product. Our sofa buying guide covers the wider decision.
Every product in this range is currently showing as available — all twelve, including all eight set configurations.
That matters practically rather than as a statistic: whichever configuration suits your room can be ordered and delivered rather than waited for, and you are not being steered toward a layout by what happens to be available.
Stock does move, though, and this description is written to last. Treat the availability shown on each product card at the time you look as the reliable figure, not anything stated here. Reduced and end-of-line stock across other ranges appears in our outlet collection.
Delivery. Most in-stock items arrive within 7–10 working days, free to England and Wales, carried out by a two-person employed team rather than a third-party courier. They bring every piece into your chosen ground-floor room where access allows and fit any feet on site. If you are outside England and Wales, ring 02476 705 600 before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Full details are on our delivery information page.
Finance. You can spread the cost with PayPal Pay in 3, Klarna Pay in 3 or Pay in 30, both interest-free, Clearpay in 4 interest-free fortnightly payments, or DivideBuy for longer-term plans. All finance is subject to a credit check and to provider terms, and the options open to you are confirmed at checkout. Provider terms are on our finance options page.
Returns. Furniture Instore offers 14-day returns, giving you a 14-day change of mind window from delivery, with the item in the condition it arrived in. A set is sold as a set and returned as a set. On faults, there is no separate frame warranty — your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full.
Three things, all of them checkable rather than asserted.
It is complete — twelve products covering four individual pieces and all eight standard set configurations, so there is no combination you would build from another range. It is currently fully available, so the layout you choose is the layout you get. And it is a single colourway on one frame design, so every piece matches exactly.
What we are not going to tell you is how long it will last, how it will feel, or that it is premium — none of that is recorded in our product data, and we would rather you judged it yourself. Our Coventry showroom at 440–450 Stoney Stanton Road is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, and the team is on 02476 705 600. For other cream and neutral options across the catalogue, our fabric sofas collection is a useful comparison.
